STU OXLEY

Stu Oxley was born in 1950 in Ramsbottom, England. He is a master printmaker and owner of Riverside Studio in Elora, Ontario where he has worked with a number of prominent Canadian artists. His is a Professor of Printmaking at the University of Guelph and Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario. Stu Oxley has recieved several awards including a prize in the 1996 Ernst and Young "Canadian Printmaking Competition". His work has been exhibited in and collected by private and public institutions throughout Canada, the United States and Europe including: The Art Gallery of Ontario, Toronto; Tom Thompson Gallery, Owen Sound; Nickel Arts Museum, Calgary; Museum London, Ontario; MacLaren Art Center, Barrie; The Naughten Gallery, Belfast, Ireland; Bank of Montreal; CIBC; Canadian Pacific and Borden Ladner and Gervais Stu Oxley currently lives and works in Elora, Ontario.
